Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Convex Mirror

The unbreakable stainless steel Heavy Duty convex mirror is ideal in situations where vandalism is a problem. This tough and durable mirror can withstand hard knocks in industrial situations or where projectile objects, such as rocks, are an issue. Complete with a fully adjustable wall mounting bracket (optional pole mounting accessories are available) which is easy to install and allows the mirror to be angled in the most effective position. The mirror face is made from 304 gauge highly poslished stainless steel for a bright, clear reflection with no distortion. Best suited for industrial and outdoor situations where extreme weather is not experienced.

Installation Guide

Heavy Duty Convex Mirror Installation Guide:

Decide the appropriate place to site the mirror to give maximum vision.
Fix J-Bracket to wall or ceiling using suitable fixing hardware (ie: screws, bolts). Allowing enough room to get the mirror on to the J-Bracket.
Thread adaptor into the back of the mirror
Slide the adaptor and mirror over the J-Bracket and adjust mirror to the desired position.
Tighten the locking bolt on the adaptor securely.

Outdoor J Bracket Installation

Optional Pole Mounting: (NOTE: U-Bolts are optional and must be purchased separately)

Choose a 60mm or 75mm Round pole to attach the U-Bolts to.
600mm Dia. Size Mirror: Thread the U-Bolts around the J-Bracket and then through both sides of the U-Bolt Flat Plate.

800mm - 1000mm Dia. Size Mirrors: Thread the U-Bolts through one side of the J-Bracket and then through both sides of the U-Bolt Flat Plate.

Thread the Washer and Nut onto the U-Bolts and tighten.
Thread adaptor into the back of the mirror
Slide the adaptor and mirror over the J-Bracket and adjust mirror to the desired position.
Tighten the locking bolt on the adaptor securely.

Cleaning Guide

Stainless Steel Mirror Cleaning Guide:

General Cleaning:
Bennett Mirror Technologies recommend cleanning their Stainless Steel Mirrors with soap and water and then with a soft, lint free, damp cloth.

DO NOT USE:

abrasives
acids

Polish:
Bennett Mirror Technologies does not recommend using a commercial Stainless Steel Polish, as the protective layer will leave a residue on the highly polished mirror faces. Rubbing plain white flour on a dry stainless steel mirror face with a dry cloth will polish the mirror to its original brilliance.

Graffiti Removal:
Any graffiti should be removed from the mirror face as soon as possible and preferably within 24 hours with a suitable lacquer thinners. Not all graffiti cleaning agents are suitable. Failure to use an approved cleaning agent may damage the mirror surface.
